Mid West Beds GP Practices
We are a group of six GP practices covering a largely rural area with two main towns, Ampthill and Flitwick and a number of smaller towns and villages.
We have a growing and ageing population. Our population is expected to rise by 19% by 2031. Our older population is expected to increase significantly, with two in five people aged 65 and over by 2031.
Local providers: Bedford Hospital, Luton and Dunstable Hospital, Milton Keynes Hospital
GP Lead: Dr Sarah Morris
Our plans and priorities for the future
All of our GP practices work together with our partners to ensure the best possible healthcare for our local population. Our locality delivery plan sets out our priorities, plans and objectives for the next year.
Our local strategy and objectives contribute to the overall aims of the clinical commissioning group as set out in the Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group Strategic Commissioning Plan and in the Bedfordshire Plan for Patients
A key part of our work is to make sure we involve local people and patients in all our decisions about healthcare and designing local health services.
You don’t need an appointment – just turn up
