Hedge Laying Is A Traditional Countryside Skill
If you are environmentally inclined, have outdoor skills, or want to help improve the countryside around the village, you may find the course attached isinterest as we are delivering them in Maulden Wood and the Working Woodland Centre. They are open to all and particularly aimed at beginners, please pass on the information to others who might be interested.

Learn the traditional skill of Hedge laying
Join local hedge laying expert Paul Blissett and learn the techniques used to lay a section of hedgerow in Maulden Wood. This training session is suitable for people with an interest in the outdoors and their local environment. Each participant will need to provide their own steel toe-capped boots, leather gloves, suitable clothing for working outside and drinks and packed lunch.
All necessary tools and other safety equipment will be provided by the Greensand Trust
